Some (sad) Urban Wolf news

goldenwolf
I'm sad to announce that for a variety of reasons, I've parted ways with Queered Fiction, the publisher of my Urban Wolf series. It's my understanding that Queered Fiction is now closed, or will be shortly, and with their closure comes the withdrawal of QUEER WOLF, SILVER KISS and DARK HUNT from all vendors. This will probably be a slow process, but as far as I'm concerned, effective now, the series is no longer available. I don't think I need to get into the fine details, but I am happy to say the rights for all Urban Wolf works are back with me. So although the series isn't available right now, it isn't dead either.

My aim is bring to all the current Urban Wolf works back to market in the latter half of 2013. Whether this will be via self-publishing or with a new publisher, I'm not sure. But I think Ayla and Shannon deserve to be out there so I'll make it happen somehow. I think it's important to have quality lesbian fiction available for urban fantasy readers and I want to be part of that with these characters. I do have plans for at least three more books in the series (as I was originally contracted for with Queered Fiction), but my main focus at the moment is working on the Ethan Banning books and I want to dedicate the first half of this year to that before moving on to new projects.

For now, I've removed all links and info about the Urban Wolf series from my blog/website and I would ask you not to purchase the books in any format should you see them anywhere. Ayla and Shannon will be back in the near future, so watch this space...

  1. I get the feeling that this year will be The year for self-publishing!
